LV to PV: We made it!

We made it to Puerto Vallarta! And it only took:

• 4 days
• 1,453 miles
• 4 Airbnbs
• 21 toll booths
• 12 gas stops
• 3 Guardia Nacional check points
• 56382949 hours in the car
• 3 INM offices
• 1 Banjercito office
• 1 late night swim
• 500 “Mommy/Daddy, look!”
• And zero (!!!) times getting lost

Despite what the U.S. media or other Americans say, we never felt unsafe. Not during the drive. Not during the check points. Not once.

Instead, we were met with stunning landscapes, warm welcomes from locals, and an unforgettable adventure. Our journey was filled with moments of awe and gratitude, proving that sometimes reality is far better than the narrative.
